"Lucknow: Four children died in Mohanlalganj area of Lucknow soon after being administered measles vaccine followed by drops of Vitamin A solution on Saturday. The vaccination was being done in an immunisation camp organised at an anganwadi centre under Nigoha Primary Health Centre (PHC) by the health department. Furious over death of the children, the parents alleged that the death was due to the vaccine. The four children namely Rekha, Sahil, Satyam Kumari and Sania belonging to villages of Bindauva, Rampur Garhi and Padmin Kheda villages of the Mohanlalganj were brught by their parents for immunisation. All the children were below two years of age, the youngest being six months old."

"Sweden's Medical Products Agency opened an inquiry Wednesday into vaccinations for swine flu made by British pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline, suspected of provoking narcolepsy. "The MPA has received six reports from health care professionals regarding narcolepsy as suspected adverse drug reaction following Pandemrix flu vaccination," it said in a statement."

"The authors studied the cases of 256 children and adolescents with AD and 422 healthy kids of similar ages and analyzed information about their history of chicken pox, chicken pox vaccination and AD. The results were very interesting: a single episode of WTVZV in childhood, but not a chicken pox vaccination, protects against developing AD up to age 10, delays the onset of AD symptoms, and decreases the severity of AD and the frequency of visits to the doctor for AD. These findings could impact vaccination practices for chicken pox in childhood. Ironically, despite its proven safety and benefits, the chicken pox vaccine (Varivax TM) is likely unable to confer the strong protective immunological benefits against development of AD that an actual case of chicken pox gives. This may be a contributing factor in the rising prevalence of AD over the past few decades.

And then 2) This particular vaccines causes a higher rate of seizures in children than the usual rate of seizures in children."
