"After my daughter received her MMRV, she became completely mute, started ripping her hair out, banging her head, screaming if anyone touched her, and lost all eye contact. I didn't believe it was the vaccines at the time-- it was too horrifying to even THINK that the government would allow mandatory vaccines that could do something like this to a child. When I started researching ways to help her I came across other stories that were exactly like my daughter's. My daughter had gotten "sick" like this before but had gotten better after a few weeks . Those dates were etched in my mind and as I pulled out her immunization record one day, I fell to my knees and cried to God when I realized the dates of her immunizations corresponded with her past severe illnesses. My daughter was diagonesd with severe autism several months after her MMRV (the last vaccine she or any of my other children will have. Around the same time my 7 year old was given the swine flu vaccine and 3 days later developed a 104 degree fever for 10 days and lost use of her legs. Luckily she came out of it but still has some short-term memory problems. She was one of the lucky ones- many children developed permanent paralysis and Epstein Barr due to that vaccine). Every day I have to live with the fact that I let them do this to my child- and every moment of every day I wish I could take it back. I have since had an immunologist confirm to me it was the vaccines that did this to her. He warned me that they have a devestating effect on the overall mental and physical health for a lifetime. He went from being a normal breathing and eating child to requiring a GI tube to eat and requiring a ventilator to breathe. My son does have an underlying Mitochondrial disease however his level of disability was minimal. He had some muscle weakness before the vaccine was administered. After the vaccine, he was severely disabled. What angers me is that no doctor would validate that he actually did in fact have a reaction to a vaccine. I guess they are all just totally afraid of being sued and are spineless. I think what validates it for me is when a separate doctor (to whom we sought a second opinion) was shocked by my son's level of disability because his blood tests showed that he did not have that severe of a form of Mitochondrial disease. The next day I awoke with my left shoulder on fire, left hip hurt, left ribs hurt and right foot hurt. Over the next 4-1/2 years massive, crippling swelling ensued in my jaw (pushed my teeth around), left side of the head, neck, hands, right foot, left leg (below the knee to the top), middle of my chest (could'nt laugh deep). I was passed around to the doctors. Took many medications which did'nt take the culprit away. I was whisked out of waiting rooms when I spoke about my horrow to other waiting-patients. Doctors gave me varying reasons; genetic, allegic, sick before I got the vaccines. A few did eke out that it was too strong or there're risks with vaccines. Well folks, I'm lucky, at the 4-1/2-year mark, the massive swelling is coming down with a vengenance. I'm up every 2 hours at night going to the bathroom. But, everday I get more movement little by little. One doctor told me it would take 5 years to recover. I thought he was nuts at the time, but he was right. The swelling is halfway gone. I'm one of the lucky ones. I'm so grateful to walk. I used to be a runner the day before the flu vaccine. I will be again. I also want to thank goodness I got awarded Social Security. We took our daughter for her 6 month appointment when they wanted her to get a flu shot on top of everything else she got that day. I was thinking this is way too many shots for a little baby. The doctor looked at me like I was crazy for not getting the flu shoot that day. Parents are in a vulnerable position because they want to do what is best for their children and do not have all the information at the Drs. office. My instinct and strong intuition ( that has never failed me, by the way) was telling me something was not right. We passed on the flu shot that day, went home thought about it and went to the clinic they were having. My husband and I signed in read the paper work and just saw all the people that were herded in this office. It was overwhelming. My husband said something about, " well this is how they make a ton of money."

She got the first shot and we never went back for the second and we now see a Naturopath Physician instead. Through much research, hearing and seeing things, I have changed my mind completely about the so-called "importance" to vaccinate. My delivery was a very rough one with our oldest daughter, which ended in an emergency c-section. During the c-section the doctor must have scraped her little nose with one of his tools, you can figure that out yourself, if you know anything about c-sections. She had a deep scrape on her tiny nose, which she still has a scar from to this day. Of course, this we didn't figure out until years later. We were told in the hospital that she had likely "scratched" herself. I didn't believe it then and I definitely don't believe it now, when I see her scar. She was always a "colicky" baby, and sickly. At seven months we almost lost her, she had a staph infection. She had a blood-transfusion, plus was pumped full of anti-biotics. The doctors brain-washed me into thinking I could have prevented this by "immunizing" her. I turned against my husband and blamed him for not allowing me to vaccinate her. (He was very much against it and knew of the many risks.) To make a very long heart-wrenching story short . . . I "immunized" her until she was 3 years old, I think. And well, I get tears in my eyes when I think about all those times she was soo sick especially after her vaccine shots. After taking her to several naturopaths, talking with many "helpful" health nurses, I discovered that she had contacted the staph infection at birth, most likely from the scrape on her nose. Although doctors would never admit this. I'm sorry if this hurts anyone's feelings, but since I was basically forced to vaccinate my precious baby, I am very leery of the doctors' "good advice". I could never have prevented the staph infection with vaccinations, and by doing so after 7 months I nearly killed her. And that's a horrible thing for a mother to admit . . . By the grace of God, we had another darling daughter when our oldest was 3 years old. She has been healthy since the day she was born and to this day, when a flu bug is going around, guess who catches it first?? Yes, our oldest daughter. And our 4 year old has never been vaccinated and as long as I can help it she will never be. You cannot make informed vaccine decisions unless you understand how vaccines are produced, their toxic nature and their ingredients. Those who are informed DO NOT CONSENT! My challenge: If you are a medical person and think vaccines are safe and not toxic to babies, than you must be willing to do the following. Get all the shots recommended - only get them weight appropiate, inject them into yourself and follow up with all the recommended boosters. The next day I awoke with my left shoulder on fire, left ribs hurt, left buttock hurt and left foot hurt. The reaction has progressed to being totally crippled in my left leg for the next 2 years. I have been frozen with massive, asymmetric swelling in my neck, jaw, etc.

I  have had to go on disability, in which I am very thankful for. I filed an Adverse Event with the CDC. There was no help there; either in speaking with someone or medical help. I received their brochure with vague diagnoses that can occur with vaccines. I have been to many doctors and have been prescribed many medications. The medications are only Band-Aid's; the culprit never goes away. I was diagnosed finally with "reactive arthritis due to the flu vaccine."

I was told I will recover, but very slowly. I had a hard time getting anyone to share a story with me about flu vaccine reactions. I finally found a doctor who could talk to me because his son went through the same thing for 5 years. His son had a flu vaccine and measle vaccine. Due to this being his family member the doctor could share his story with me. This encouraged me to know that I will someday come out of this. I am very slowly getting better, but this has ruined my life over the past 3 years. I have been almost a house-bound vegetable for the last 2 years. I knew nothing on the safety of vaccines until I did extensive research following my son's last round of vaccinations given at 18 months. No idea which shot triggered the health crisis because he was given five vaccines in one day but it started with a fever. Something they warn you about and proceeded to become extreme irritability, sensitivity to the point that he screamed at the idea of having clothes on his body, even his diaper. I have always followed a natural approach to health for myself and have no idea why I gave in to the words of a medical doctor! I immediately began researching and fell into the hands of some knowledgeable people. I supplemented his diet with glyconutrients, colostrum based transfer factor and liquid zeolite, a safe and effective method for removing heavy metals and chemicals. He appears to be in very good health today and I am not certain this health crisis would have led to permanent neurological damage but I learned to never agree to vaccines again. My sister gave birth three weeks prematurely and they STILL attempted to take the baby away for her Hepatitis B shot, never mind that her immune system would be even more fragile. In 2004 David N. Brace had Guillain-Barres Syndrome (GBS) and was hospitalized for 3 weeks and then received three weeks in-patient physical rehabilitation. David made a full recovery. In 2005 David enlisted in the Army. David disclosed to his recruiter that he had had GBS. His recruiter sent him back to his Neurologists for some medical forms to be filled out and David was given a clean bill of health. While in Basic Training/AIT David was given the oral polio and Flu-mist vaccine. Neither of these should be give to anyone with a history of GBS.

Then in late June 2006 they gave David the Anthrax vaccine. David began having breathing problems and experienced a racing heart while doing physical training. When these reactions continued, David's father and I, impressed upon David the need for medical intervention. David's unit was preparing to go to the National Training Center in CA. David was being pushed by his unit to go to the training center and he also did not want to fail in his job. On July 4th, 2006 David's father, Dr Ron Brace MD, (former US Army Cpt, Medical Corps) sent an e-mail to the post's Hospital Commander requesting that David not be sent to the NTC without receiving medical attention for a problem that seemed to be worsening. Amazing that it took his parents threatening a Congressional inquiry for him to receive medical care. David recently, approximately 6 weeks ago came across a Tri-fold Brochure that the military is supposed to hand out to everyone who is going to receive the Anthrax Vaccine. This Tri-fold brochure specifically states that individuals who have had GBS are NOT supposed to receive the anthrax vaccine. David was given the anthrax vaccine sometime in June 2006 and again in February 2007. Again no medical history was taken at that time or the Army again would have been made aware that David had had GBS.

David made a report to VAERS Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System about a possible reaction to the anthrax vaccine and that the army had failed him when they administered it to him. VAERS reported his case to the Military Vaccine Healthcare Network's (MVHS) Fort Bragg office. Fort Bragg contacted David and had him fill out several forms and they then requested a copy of David's Medical Records from David's PEBLO at Ft Carson. The MVHS asked that David's case be put on hold while they investigate the incident. David's PEBLO has refused to give David a copy of his medical records and has sent David's case to the Medical Evaluation Board at Ft Lewis, WA where they have decided that David's heart condition was pre-existing and are ready to discharge him with no severance pay, no bennefits and no medical treatment even though the doctors have stated he needs a pace maker. David did not have prior heart problems, did successfully complete basic training and 11B Infantry School, and passed his units Physical Fitness Testing in April 2006." Hide

My wife and I did our research and we didn't vaccine our son who is now 5 or our daughter who is almost 2. When we moved to a new neighborhood, we were visited by Animal Control. They gave us a sort of "fix-it" ticket that required us to license our pet. To gain the license we had to vaccinate him for rabies. He was given the 3yr rabies vaccination. 24 hours later, we awoke to Spence howling in pain. His gums and tongue were white, his body was bloated and he was obviously in much distress. We took him to the vet and an x-ray found that his stomach had flipped, twisting intestines and causing him much pain and malaise. Spencer was immediately taken to surgery where the vet was able to right his stomach and untangle his intestines. There was no necrosis and he should have recovered. Spencer, however, died a few short hours later. The vet told us that Spencer died of congestive heart failure. We were stunned and confused. How did congestive heart failure kill him? He was only six years old and before this, a very healthy dog. The vet told us that Spencer's death was caused by the vaccination. The 3yr rabies vaccination had been the reason several dogs had died. Through research of my own, I discovered that the vaccination is so potent that it isn't even administered to pups under two years old. It's simply too much for their system. And it was apparently too much for Spence's system...we buried him in a special spot in our yard, much sooner than we should have had to do. Anyone who has ever loved and lost a pet will understand how painful this entire ordeal was and how very angry it made us to think a vaccination that kills some dogs but not others is administered regularly without any kind of forewarning." We were warned by many sincere people of the dire consequences that would result, not to mention the harm we would cause to the larger society. Somehow, the health and well-being of our children trumped those arguments. If indeed the vaccines protect those who choose to be vaccinated, then my children should pose no threat to anyone but themselves. Our kids are very healthy, well-adjusted, and are now 19, 21, and 24 years of age, and have not suffered any of the diseases that they would have been "protected" from, and have not caused these diseases in others to the best on our knowledge. Casi Renee was born in 1995 and scored 8 & 9 on her APGAR scores. We were warned by chiropractors of the risks involved with vaccines. Her pediatrician pressured me into vaccinating her and she received her Hepatitis B vaccine on 6-19-95. We were told of no risk and were even given a bottle of tylenol to maks the symptoms of any reactions.

Within days after the vaccine she developed a rash, but the pediatrician didn't seem to be concerned. She was given HBPV, OPV, DPT and her 2nd dose of Hepatitis B on 7-27-95. We noticed she was very floppy. When we would pick up an arm or leg, it would just drop. On 9-27-95 she received another dose of DPT, HBPV and OPV. We still noticed her floppiness. Within a week, she developed eczema and she resisted being put on her belly.

On 11-30-95 she received another round of DPT and HBPV Her eczema was out of control and we noticed jer babbling stopped immediately. We couldn't get her to play peek -a-boo any longer and all she wanted to do was lay on her back. We also noticed she always wanted to look up at the ceiling. We thought she was fascinated with the ceiling fan and lights. We felt that she was not developing normally. The doctor said it was normal and not to compare our child with others.

She received her third dose of Hepatitis B on 3-12-96. Within a month, we noticed a lot of noise in her joints and she had not advanced mentaly or physically in a while. At her one year birthday, everyone realized somethign was wrong. She was not even going from a lying position to a sitting position on her own. On 9-26-96, he gave her the MMR and HBPV vaccine. Within weeks of the MMR vaccine, she developed chronic constipation. We started suspecting vaccines and spoke to ther pediatrician about our concern. He did not agree, but suggested we give her the safer version DTaP vaccine, along with OPV and TB screening on 12-19-96.

We finally taught her to walk at 22 months old. She was very unstable and fell a lot but seemed to get around. Casi never spoke and after seeing every specialist available, she was given the "label" of autism. In may of 1999, Casi started running a fever and blood work showed positive with Epstein Barre virus, which research show is also caused by vaccines. She inevitable contracted bacterial meningitis and was not treated properly at the hospital. Casi passed away 10 days after her 4th birthday and the only reason I'm able to breathe today, is becasue God has made my mission very clear. I have dedicated the rest of my life to doing WHATEVER is necessary to help these innocent victims and protecting the children-yet-to-be." Hide

Most believe that their children will not be allowed to attend public school if they are not immunized.

The media constantly propagates this myth by constantly announcing school enrollment vaccine deadlines. NEVER have I heard an addendum stating that we have the legal right to refuse vaccines. To me it's as ridiculous as saying that if your child gets a stuffy nose, you MUST give them allergy medication. I'm sure the makers of Benadryl would LOVE to have school districts require that children take their medication in order to be allowed to attend school. How ridiculous does that sound? Now, I am not anti-Benadryl, but this is just an example of the odacity of using tax-payer money to fund public education, then requiring those same tax-payers to medicate their children with a certain pharmaceutical product in order to participate in the publically funded education system. So odacious that, in fact, there is no such law and the only way they manage the facade is to pull the proverbial wool over the public's eyes and assure compliance through outright deception.

My son Austin was born in Aug 1996, and was the picture of health when born. Several hours later, while I was still in recovery, the docs came to me with the bad news that his white count was precariously low and he was having trouble oxegenating his blood.

We immediately agreed to have him on IV antibiotics and though they did numerous tests over the next few days, they never found anything. Fortunately, he was released a week later to my happy arms and I thought that was the end of our worries. Fast forward to 14 months later. He has had ear infection after ear infection, and antibiotics on top of antibiotics with cocktails of vaccines for good measure. (a little sarcasm there). When he was 14 months, with an ear infection, they decided it was a good time to give him not only the powerful MMR vaccine, but the mercury laced Chicken Pox vaccine all on the same day while he was sick. Little did I know how damaging that round would be to his compromised immune system. I noticed within a short time that he has stopped using the few words that he had so proudly mastered, and no new words were coming.

He was strangely disconnected, not making eye contact, and was obssessed with drinking bottles of milk, yet he couldnt even say the word "milk". It wasn't until about a year later, when he had only 10 or 15 words of language that I got the diagnosis Autism. Horrible time - the docs said - its a neurological disease for which there is no cure and no treatment. Good luck. Fortunately, I didn't believe them, and worked tirelessly on the internet every night after he went to sleep researching options. Some worked, some did not. The gluten free/casein free diet was the major turning point. He started talking and stopped tantruming when his system was finally free of the "drugs" of wheat and dairy. Many types of behavioral treatments were tried. Every little bit helped.

Today, my 10 year old son is fully intergrated into a mainstream 5th grade class. He excels in math and science, programs video games, can make and edit digital movies, loves dragons and wizardry, and has friends to play ball and games with. He is a quirky, but loving, affectionate and intelligent child. I'm grateful that the treatments I chose helped bring him back. Some kids arent so lucky. But there is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that the vaccines were the straw that broke the camels back of my son's fragile system and that damaged him possibly for life.
